About us

The current socio-political conditions in Nepal such as internal war, natural disasters, poverty and unemployment people have experienced significant psychosocial difficulties at all levels. But they are not getting adequate support from the society. INGO's & local organizations are showing interest to address this issue through different activities but they lack relevant skills. CMC-Nepal is recognized as a prominent skill building resource center for their staff or partners because of its work with different organizations. Support for conflict-affected people is one of the emerging areas of work.

CMC-Nepal Mission

To provide capacity building and support to organisations (International,nationa and government),empowering them to promote awareness about mental health issues and provide quality mental health care as part of their programming,ensuring local ownership.

CMC-Nepal Vision

Individuals and communities in Nepal are aware of and can promote good mental heatlh in their daily living. Human resources and structures are available to provide mental health services to those in need,enabling them to live dignified lives and contribute to the nation.

 

Our office is in Kathmandu - but we are working in many districts all across Nepal.
