Child Mental Health Programme

This programme is being implemented in Dolakha and Kavre districts in the funding support of FELM, which promotes mental health among children and adolescents and facilitates the provision of mental health services for those with emotional and behavioural problems. This programme also aims to integrate this approach within the government district education and health systems.

• Training and supervision of teachers, student volunteers and supervisors in preventative and promotive approaches for the psychosocial wellbeing of children and adolescents
• Support for reading and play materials
• Life skills education for children and adolescents
• Training and supervision of health workers in child and adult mental health
• Run Child Guidance Clinic in Charikot Primary Health Care Centre, Dolakha
