Criteria for accepting Volunteer
Training Background
Recognized training in mental health e.g. Psychiatry, Psychology, Social work, Psychiatric Nursing, Clinical Psychology
Experience
At least 2 years of hands on experience and post graduate course in one of above faculties.
Cross-cultural working experience will be added benefit.
Commitment
Commitment for a period of 6 months or more, and at least 3 working days in a week.
Language
For Foriegners, communication will be done in English language. However, spoken competency in Nepali Language will be added benefit.

Criteria for accepting Internship
As like Volunteer, the interested candidates for Internship should self arrange for the Visa. CMC-Nepal can arrange internship for those interested with guidance and exposure in the field of Mental Health and Psychosocial Counselling, and as required.
Payment
For the internship, CMC-Nepal will charge USD 600 for three months internship as part of supervisors’ and other logistic costs. The collected amount will be used for the treatment and rehabilitation of the people with mental health problems, who cannot afford the treatment.
Note: Visa (For Foreigners): As per the prevailing laws of Nepal, CMC –Nepal as an status of NGO, cannot obtain the visa position. The volunteer who meets the criteria and willing to work with CMC-Nepal and should initiate for the Visa by self or by the sending Organization.
